ABOUT / RESURCHIN

Teaching research the right way, across every field.

Resurchin is a learning platform built to teach people how to actually do research, not just in STEM, through syllabi taught by real tutors, quizzes that keep learners honest, and a guided capstone project at the end.

Research is learned by doing it, not by waiting until you feel qualified.

At a lot of institutions, final year students are handed a research project with very little real guidance. They pick a topic, write the introduction, do the literature review, figure out the methodology, and defend it. Historically that meant hours of struggling to find data, structure an argument, and learn a process nobody properly taught them, and it looked different depending on the field, with no one really teaching the methodology behind it.

Now AI makes it possible to skip all of that. Students can prompt a model and get a full thesis back without ever learning how research actually works, in any discipline.

ResurchIn's curator has lived both sides of this. She went through the hard version of research as a student, later helped other students with their own projects, and now works as a data scientist on Alzheimer's biomarker research. That is why ResurchIn is built the way it is: tutors from any field teach the specific methodology only they can teach. It exists to close the gap between struggling through research alone and skipping it entirely, so people build a real skill instead of quietly outsourcing it to AI.

HAPPINESS ERIC AIGBOGUN
Research is learned by doing it,
not by waiting until you feel qualified.

Happiness is a data scientist working in Alzheimer's biomarker research, with a Master of Data Science and published work in machine learning and healthcare data. She created ResurchIn to give students and early career researchers the practical guidance she had to hunt for herself: learn the work by doing the work.

OUR MISSION

To give students and early career researchers the real research skills and hands on experience they need.

To move from curiosity to confident practice, through structured, tutor led training that works across every field, not just STEM, and stays free and accessible no matter where someone is learning from.

OUR VISION

To become a global home for research training.

Where skilled researchers and tutors from every discipline, science, technology, social sciences, and beyond, come together to raise the next generation of thinkers who build real solutions instead of shortcuts.

WHY IT EXISTS / IN PRACTICE

Access changes when the room opens.

Not a polished campaign image, a record of people reading, testing, asking and revising together.

WHAT THE PROGRAM PROTECTS

01

Practice before polish

Participants work with real data and keep the drafts that show how their decisions changed.

02

Guidance that is usable

Feedback should tell you what to inspect, question or revise next.

03

Access without tuition

The program remains free and volunteer-driven for emerging researchers worldwide.

WHERE WE'RE HEADED

A home for researchers and tutors across every discipline.

Down the line, Resurchin becomes a home for researchers and tutors across every discipline: computer science, biotech, AI, social sciences, and humanities, all teaching their own research methodology. Not one narrow niche. This first version lays the groundwork for that. The feature set is being kept simple on purpose, so the foundation is built right before scaling.

Evaluating and guiding other researchers.

Beyond her own research, Happiness serves as a peer reviewer for AI and medical imaging research conferences, a science fair judge, and a teaching assistant, roles that put her on the other side of the table, evaluating and guiding other researchers. That shapes how ResurchIn teaches: not from theory, but from knowing what the gate into research actually looks like.
