02 — Background
Why this exists
In many institutions — especially in Nigeria — final-year students are required to pick a topic, research it, and defend it: introduction, literature review, methodology, the full process. Historically this was hard. Finding data, structuring arguments, learning methodology — all done manually.
Today, AI lets students skip the learning entirely. They can prompt a model to generate a full thesis without understanding the process. Resurchin's founder went through research the hard way, went on to help other students with their projects for a fee, and later became a bioinformatics researcher at a U.S. research lab — where she's spent 3+ years building deep research expertise.
Resurchin exists to close that gap: teach the process of research properly, regardless of field, so people build real research skill rather than outsourcing it to AI.
